The object of attention for the residents of Grizinkalns the day before yesterday was a car that drove into a hole near a two-story house. Local residents are puzzled about how the car could have gotten there, considering that there is a sidewalk along the house, not a roadway, reports the Degpunktā program (TV3).
A Toyota car quite "successfully" drove into a depression on Varna Street. The car did not hit any residential buildings or city infrastructure. There were no injuries — only the concrete curb and the car itself were damaged. Although the incident occurred closer to the evening, there was no shortage of spectators — eyewitnesses rushed to capture what they saw.
"I only have what the neighbors filmed and sent to me on my phone. No one really wrote anything about what happened. Well, something definitely happened, yes," said a local resident.
One man noticed the unusual scene in the evening, but he also cannot understand how the vehicle ended up in such a position. According to him, it was already dark: "I don’t understand how he got in there. The car was standing like this, right by the window," said a local resident.
Another resident added that there were "dark men" behind the wheel, and a bag with the Bolt logo was seen in the car: "So I think it was some kind of Bolt car."

"I don’t know, honestly. I’ve lived here for 20 years, and I don’t understand how one can even get in there. I think maybe they were trying to avoid someone."
It is possible that the courier was planning to deliver an order to one of the local residents. The curbs were lined with cars, and he decided to stop right by the red house. In the dark, he probably did not notice that the sidewalk ended and drove into a hole about half a meter deep.
It is also possible that he was indeed trying to avoid some obstacle, sharply turned the steering wheel, and ended up in a dead-end trap. The circumstances of the incident are currently being investigated by the police.
