On Sunday, 90 traffic accidents were registered in Latvia, with five people injured in the accidents, reports the State Police.
Among the injured were one pedestrian and one electric scooter driver.
Yesterday, the police detained seven people for driving vehicles under the influence of alcohol. Five drivers were behind the wheel in a state of severe intoxication and were prosecuted.
A total of 239 reports were filed yesterday for speeding, and 531 reports were filed overall for various traffic violations.
