On Friday, 11 people were injured as a result of traffic accidents, reports the State Police.
A total of 160 traffic accidents were registered in the country over the past day, with nine accidents involving injuries. Among the injured are four pedestrians and one electric scooter driver.
Nine drivers were detained while driving under the influence of alcohol. In eight cases, criminal proceedings have been initiated for driving under the influence, and in one case, an administrative process has been started.
Overall, 469 protocols were issued for various traffic violations during the day, including 223 for speeding and two for aggressive driving.
