Gatis Titov, head of the fuel category at "Circle K Latvia," explained that the trend of decreasing fuel prices has been observed since the beginning of May, and this week it became "more noticeable."

He noted that after the situation in the Middle East was resolved, exchange prices for diesel fuel fell below 1,000 USD, although this is still 300-400 USD higher than at the end of February.

Titov also explained that the sharp drop in fuel prices at gas stations observed on June 18 was largely related to competitive activity in the fight for customers ahead of the long weekend.
