The Food and Veterinary Service (FVS) has suspended the activities of five catering enterprises for violations of hygiene requirements over the past two months, the LETA agency was informed by the service.
The Food and Veterinary Service (FVS) conducted 30 inspections of catering enterprises from January 26 to March 23, 2026, in collaboration with the State Revenue Service and the State Labor Inspectorate, including establishments preparing kebabs, pizza, and Chinese dishes.
The service noted that one of the suspended enterprises has rectified the identified non-compliances, and its operations have been restored, while the activities of four enterprises remain suspended.
The FVS is a state institution under the Ministry of Agriculture that supervises and controls the circulation of food products and veterinary matters.
