The average price for housing is 70,000 euros.

The average cost of an apartment in Russia is about 6.8 million rubles (about 70,000 euros); however, the cheapest apartment is sold for just 450,000 rubles (about 5,000 euros). This information is reported by the media in conjunction with real estate market analysts.

The apartment for 450,000 rubles is located in the city of Kharabali in the Astrakhan region, in a five-story building built in 1982. It is a one-room unit with an area of 21 square meters, without repairs, featuring a balcony and a kitchen of 4 square meters. In the advertisement, the owner expressed a willingness to negotiate.

Kharabali is a city in the Astrakhan region on the banks of the Ashuluk River, a tributary of the Akhtuba, located 142 kilometers from the regional center. The first mention of the settlement dates back to 1789. At that time, these places were populated by runaway peasants from the Voronezh, Kursk, and Tambov provinces. In the 19th century, the village became known far beyond the province for its fruit orchards. In 1904, a railway appeared here, and in 1926, electricity was introduced. In the late 20s to early 30s, fishing collective farms were organized. In 1936, the largest canning factory was launched. The status of a city was granted in 1974. The city has the Ascension Church and several parks. It is also interesting to see the unique wooden houses, which can only be found in the Astrakhan region. There are also good examples of Soviet architecture.

In the city of Koryazhma in the Arkhangelsk region, another budget housing option is available — a one-room apartment with an area of 19 square meters for 500,000 rubles. In the Musical Microdistrict of Krasnodar, a studio without finishing with an area of 17.5 square meters can be purchased for 630,000 rubles in a building with central utilities and a well-maintained gated area. A two-room apartment with an area of 52 square meters is offered for 690,000 rubles in the village of Caspian in the Astrakhan region. This is a brick house with gas heating in a picturesque area near the delta of the Volga and the Astrakhan Nature Reserve.

According to Yandex Real Estate, the median cost per square meter in the secondary housing market in Russia in September was 140,000 rubles, while the median total cost of an apartment was 6.8 million rubles. Over the year, the price increased by 4.9%, while the volume of available housing decreased.
