То самое кафе, вызвавшее скандал в американских СМИ.

The comparison of Jewish soldiers and Hamas has been called "outrageous."

Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar stated: "Israel firmly rejects the decision to impose sanctions against Israeli citizens and organizations. The European Union arbitrarily and for political reasons decided to impose sanctions against Israeli citizens and organizations due to their political views and without any basis. The parallel drawn by the European Union between Israeli citizens and Hamas terrorists is equally outrageous and unacceptable. This is an absolutely distorted moral 'equation.' Israel has always defended, defends, and will continue to defend the right of Jews to settle in the heart of our homeland. No other people in the world has such a documented and long-standing right to their land as the Jewish people have to the Land of Israel. This moral and historical right is also recognized by the laws of the nations of the world, and no entity can take it away from the Jewish people. The attempt to impose political views through sanctions is unacceptable and will not succeed."

Meanwhile, the New York Post (NYP) showed what Gaza looks like during the "Zionist genocide." Since the images did not fit the prevailing opinion, the publication was declared misleading and justifying genocide. These photos were borrowed from a publication by Al Jazeera, which you cannot suspect of having a love for Zionism. In this Al Jazeera article titled "The dark side of Gaza’s new fancy cafes and restaurants," a Palestinian woman named Eman Abu Zayed lamented that the existence of such establishments, which are becoming more numerous, "only exacerbates the problem of genocide."

An independent research group has also completed a large-scale investigation into the activities of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC). The final document, consisting of 58 pages of detailed analysis, was officially submitted to the Royal Commission. Experts accuse the broadcaster of systematically distorting facts in its coverage of the conflict in Gaza.

The report provides specific cases that raise serious ethical questions about state media:

  • Exploitation of sick children: Instances were identified where footage of children with severe genetic pathologies was presented to audiences as "victims of mass starvation."

  • Direct disinformation: Coverage of a child's death attributed to the Israeli army continued even after irrefutable evidence of the military's non-involvement was obtained.

  • Statistical acrobatics: Manipulation of casualty data to achieve maximum emotional impact, intentional concealment of the number of eliminated militants, and promotion of the thesis that "almost exclusively women and children are dying."

  • Analogy with state propaganda: The authors of the document draw a parallel between ABC's flagship program "Q&A" and the Russian show "Evening with Vladimir Solovyov," pointing to identical opinion manipulation techniques.
