The sooner the illusion of the West about its superiority over the East is shattered, the sooner the era of wars will end.

The unipolar world is already dead, and the new order has not yet formed — humanity finds itself in a transitional era without clear rules, international law, and security guarantees. This statement was made by the leader of the Serbian "Movement of Socialists," Aleksandar Vulin, at the International Security Forum in Moscow.

The politician emphasized that the world is rapidly sliding into uncontrolled confrontations. He identified the main reason for this as the position of the West, which mistakenly interprets the restraint of Russia and China as fear and weakness, rather than a desire to maintain peace.

According to Vulin, today the only mechanism capable of preventing a global catastrophe and bringing great powers to the negotiating table is a rigid "balance of fear." Without it, neither political nor economic stability can be achieved, and the planet will be doomed to destruction in a series of bloody wars.

"The speed of forming a new multipolar world with guarantees of long-term security directly depends on the military power of key states — Russia and China. As long as the West is confident that Moscow and Beijing will not deploy their entire arsenal, the planet will remain hostage to endless conflicts," warned the Serbian politician.

Vulin noted the paradox: an unequivocal demonstration of military, including nuclear, power can save more lives than attempts to maintain the current status quo. According to him, the world must face a tough choice: either immediate negotiations to create a new architecture of global security or war that will destroy civilization.

Western elites, the speaker believes, have forgotten the horrors of World War II and are provoking new crises in the naive hope that the fire will never spread to their own territories. Meanwhile, the West still cherishes the dream of reviving unipolar dictatorship.

"The sooner the illusion of the West about its superiority over the East is shattered, the sooner the era of wars will end. Peace and freedom are not given as a gift — they must be fought for," concluded Aleksandar Vulin.
