New Alleged Victims of Jeffrey Epstein Emerge in France

The Paris prosecutor's office has received about ten reports from alleged victims of Jeffrey Epstein, who was accused of sexually exploiting minors and human trafficking. Thus, the total number of reports to the French investigation has reached approximately twenty.

The Paris prosecutor's office has received reports from "about ten" more alleged victims of Jeffrey Epstein, who was accused of coercing minors and young women into prostitution and was found hanged in his jail cell in New York in 2019. This was announced by Paris prosecutor Laure Beccu on Sunday, May 17, during a broadcast on RTL.

According to her, the total number of such reports has reached approximately 20.

The Aim of the Investigation is to Identify Possible Intermediaries in France

The aim of the investigation is to identify possible intermediaries in the "human trafficking" case in France who may have facilitated Epstein's criminal activities, bb.lv reports.

"At this stage, none of the individuals who may be held accountable have been interrogated," the prosecutor noted, clarifying that the current logic of the investigation is to first gather testimonies from possible victims and then examine physical evidence.

At a later stage, an examination of data from Epstein's computer, the content of his phone calls, and address books will be conducted.

The Epstein Case and the Publication of Related Materials

American financier Jeffrey Epstein served time for organizing prostitution in 2008-2009. He was arrested on charges of coercing minors into prostitution on July 6, 2019, and was found hanged in his cell in a Manhattan jail on August 10, where he was awaiting trial. In December 2025, the first batch of documents related to the Epstein case was published.

On January 30, 2026, the U.S. Department of Justice released over 3 million pages from the "Epstein files," as well as 2,000 related video recordings and 180,000 other images.

French investigators continue to gather testimonies and examine possible connections between the Jeffrey Epstein case and French territory. New reports and the publication of additional materials from the investigation archives have once again heightened attention to one of the most high-profile international scandals in recent years.

Earlier, bb.lv reported that an American court had for the first time released a handwritten note allegedly written by Jeffrey Epstein.
