On Tuesday night, Ukrainian drones attacked Tuapse on the Black Sea coast in Russia again, local authorities and Telegram channels reported, according to LETA citing Ukraїnska Pravda.

Local residents reported hearing more than ten loud explosions over the course of two hours. Drones flew in from the sea at a low altitude, according to the Telegram channel "Shot." The channel also reported that a fire broke out in one of the areas.

The Telegram channel "Astra" later reported that, judging by eyewitness videos, the fire occurred at the Tuapse Oil Refinery.

Recently, Ukraine has intensified attacks on Russia's oil industry to reduce Moscow's revenue from oil exports. In particular, Ukraine has repeatedly attacked the Tuapse Oil Refinery with drones, which is one of the largest facilities of its kind in Russia.

The military headquarters of the Krasnodar Krai in Russia confirmed the information about the drone attack on the oil refinery in Tuapse. The headquarters stated that the fire was allegedly caused by falling debris from the drone.
