The situation in the economy has become much more complicated

The Russian minister lamented the reduction of "economic reserves."

The economic reserves that previously helped Russian businesses cope with labor shortages are now "significantly depleted," said the Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, Maxim Reshetnikov. He described the situation in the Russian economy as more complicated than in previous years due to the excessive strengthening of the ruble, high interest rates, labor resource shortages, and budget constraints, noting that "business feels this most acutely." According to Reshetnikov, the situation is further complicated by tax changes.

Maxim Reshetnikov also stated that government support for business lending cannot be as substantial as it was during the pandemic because the current situation is "much more complicated."
