Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that for the first time in history, the Ukrainian military and society have a sufficient level of armament to defend against Russian strikes, LETA reports citing BBC.
"For the first time in Ukraine's history, the army is sufficiently armed to be able to defend against Russian strikes," said Zelensky.
He noted that Ukraine is in a stronger position than in previous historical periods, including 2014 and the 20th century.
"Ukraine has been able to withstand a full-scale war and is defending itself with dignity, modernity, and the capability to carry the war onto the territory of the enemy — into Russia," emphasized Zelensky.
