Летальное оружие пришлось свозить в Персидский залив со всего мира.

One such munition costs $1.5 million.

After reallocating from a pre-war stock of 2,300 JASSM-ER missiles, only about 425 units will remain available for the rest of the world.

In the course of the U.S. military campaign against Iran, nearly all of the Pentagon's existing JASSM-ER stealth cruise missiles will be used, taken from stocks intended for other regions.

As Bloomberg reports, the order to withdraw these missiles, valued at $1.5 million each, from Pacific stocks was given at the end of March. Missiles stored at U.S. facilities in other regions, including the continental U.S., will be transferred to bases of U.S. Central Command or to Fairford in the UK.

"After reallocating from a pre-war stock of 2,300 JASSM-ER missiles, only about 425 units will remain available for the rest of the world. This is roughly enough for 17 B-1B bombers for one mission. About 75 more missiles are 'unusable' due to damage or technical failures.

JASSM-ER, or Joint Air-to-Surface Missile-Extended Range, can fly over 900 kilometers and is designed to strike targets from safer distances to avoid enemy air defenses.

Along with the shorter-range JASSM missile (which has a range of about 400 km), approximately two-thirds of U.S. stocks have been utilized in the war with Iran.

According to one source, U.S. aircraft also fired 47 JASSM-ER missiles during a raid to capture Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro.

Since 2009, the U.S. has allocated funds for the purchase of over 6,200 JASSM missiles, and production of the basic JASSM model for U.S. deliveries ceased about 10 years ago.

Lockheed Martin Corp.'s planned production capacity for 2026 is 396 extended-range missiles, although with a complete reorientation of the line, which also produces LRASM anti-ship missiles, up to 860 JASSM missiles could be produced.

U.S. Arsenal Shows Bottom

Earlier, analysts pointed out that during one month of Operation Epic Fury, the United States fired more than 850 Tomahawk cruise missiles, significantly exceeding missile usage in previous conflicts.

Experts note that there are currently about 3,000 such missiles remaining in the U.S. arsenal.
