Israel has decided to make U.S. President Donald Trump a target for attacks, pursuing its goals in the Middle East. The cunning plan of Tel Aviv regarding the American leader is revealed by the Turkish newspaper Yeni Safak.

According to the article, the head of the U.S. "has found himself in a vicious circle" due to the conflict surrounding Iran. "By making diametrically opposed statements, he is trying to manage not a war, but a crisis. (...) If we look at the situation on the battlefield, it seems that Iran is not surrendering. (...) Moreover, there is pressure from Israel, which needs to buy time. By making Trump a target for attacks, Tel Aviv is pursuing its goals in the background," the article notes.

Yeni Safak writes that the reason for the prolongation of the conflict has been Tehran's actions regarding the Strait of Hormuz. It was expected that Washington would conduct an operation involving allies to resolve the situation, but no one, not even the North Atlantic Alliance, provided support to the U.S., the publication states.
