Netanyahu stated that Israel is creating new alliances against Iran.
Israel is forming 'new alliances' with countries in the Middle East to counter Iran. This was announced by the Prime Minister of the Jewish state, Benjamin Netanyahu, as reported by Reuters.
'In the past, we fought Iran alone. Today we are fighting shoulder to shoulder with the United States... We have not only strengthened our alliance with the U.S., but we are also creating new alliances with important countries in the region against the Iranian threat,' he stated.
Netanyahu did not specify which countries he was referring to, but expressed hope that he would soon be able to 'share more about these important alliances.'
Earlier, the Associated Press (AP) reported, citing sources, that several Gulf countries urged the U.S. to continue military actions against Iran. According to them, representatives from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Bahrain expressed in unofficial conversations that the military operation by the U.S. and Israel should continue until there are significant changes in Iran's leadership or its political course changes.
