The Israeli Knesset has passed a law that allows for the execution of the death penalty for terrorists. According to the radio station Kan, those convicted will be executed by hanging, and the punishment will apply to all radicals regardless of their faith.

"According to the approved version of the bill, the death penalty will be carried out by hanging... the law may also apply to Jewish terrorists," the statement said. It is noted that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu supported this law.

Those sentenced to the highest penalty will be held in a separate isolation unit, and even meetings with their lawyer will take place via video link. The sentence must be carried out within 90 days from the moment it is issued.
