Massive drone strikes carried out by Russia at night and during the day indicate that Russia does not want to end the war, so pressure on Moscow must continue, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Tuesday, LETA reports citing BBC.

"The scale of this attack clearly shows that Russia has no intention of actually ending this war. And considering that Russia is also helping the Iranian regime strike throughout the region, the conclusion is quite obvious — without additional and strong pressure on Russia, without significant losses for Russia, there will be no desire in Moscow to distance itself from the war, to somehow get used to peace again," Zelensky said in an evening video address.

According to him, just in the last few weeks, due to the easing of sanctions, Russia has earned at least two billion dollars.

"This is dangerous for everyone. This is a signal, this is the direction."

"The [strike drone] 'Shahed' should not be the main symbol of what is happening here, in our country, in Europe, and in the Middle East or anywhere else in the world. People want a normal life. And the task of leaders is to facilitate this," emphasized the President of Ukraine.

On Tuesday afternoon, Russia launched a massive strike across almost the entire territory of Ukraine using strike drones.

More than 20 people were injured in Lviv, and a 'Shahed' type drone hit a 16th-century Bernardine monastery.

Such attacks usually occur at night, and Ukrainian experts suggest that this may be a new tactic of the Russian army.
