China called for dialogue after news of the US postponement of strikes on Iran.

The official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, Lin Jian, expressed concern regarding reports of possible US strikes on Iran's energy infrastructure. He made this statement at a briefing on Tuesday.

"China expresses deep concern over the escalation of the situation," said the diplomat, commenting on Bloomberg's information about Washington's decision to delay strikes. He emphasized the negative impact of the escalation on regional and global stability.

Lin Jian called on all parties to "immediately cease fire" and return to peaceful dialogue.

Earlier, the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China warned that the continuation of the US-Iran war would plunge the Middle East into chaos. According to him, the US-Iran war should never have started in the first place. Lin Jian emphasized that further use of force "will only lead to a vicious cycle."
