The German company, specializing in the development and production of drones, has received an order for the supply of interceptor drones for the National Guard of Ukraine. This order follows Quantum Systems' investments in the Ukrainian UAV manufacturer WIY Drones.
According to Sven Kruk, one of the CEOs of Quantum Systems, Ukrainian specialists "have developed some of the most effective technologies in the world for countering drones," which his company is scaling at an industrial level "and is contributing to the security of Ukraine's airspace." The manufacturer promised to publish additional information "in the near future."
In February, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius agreed on joint production of drones through Quantum Frontline Industries. By the end of 2026, the enterprise planned to supply the Armed Forces of Ukraine with at least 10,000 UAVs. In February, five European countries - Germany, France, Poland, the United Kingdom, and Italy - announced the launch of a new program for the production of budget air defense systems and autonomous drones. The project is based on the Ukrainian experience gained over four years of war.
