The EU Warns of Dangerous Consequences of Prolonged War with Iran

Rheinmetall: another month of war with Iran will deplete the missile stockpiles of the U.S. and its allies.

The stockpiles of missiles and air defense systems of the U.S. and its allies will be completely depleted if the war with Iran drags on for another month. The head of the German defense conglomerate Rheinmetall, Armin Papperger, warned about the consequences of a prolonged conflict in an interview with CNBC. "If this lasts another month, then I think we will have almost no missiles available. And the reason is quite simple: if you have drones — their cost is very low," he said. According to him, the stockpiles of missiles and air defense systems in the U.S., Europe, and the Middle East are practically exhausted. Papperger expressed confidence that the conglomerate will soon face a significant increase in orders. Earlier, the head of Rheinmetall stated that European countries have virtually not invested in the defense industry over the past 30 years. "In case of unforeseen circumstances, the stockpiles will be depleted within a few days," he noted.
