In the morning of March 16, Sergei Sobyanin reported that over the previous two days, "air defense forces destroyed approximately 250 enemy drones directly approaching Moscow and at the second line towards Moscow." In the night of March 17, the city of Korochа in the Belgorod region was affected by drones, reported the region's governor, Vyacheslav Gladkov. As a result of a drone detonating near a social facility, five people were injured, he explained, without specifying which building was involved.
