Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan sharply criticized Israel and called for an end to the war against Iran, "before it escalates and completely engulfs the region in flames."
Erdogan also stated that Turkey is taking measures to protect its security. According to him, Ankara is closely monitoring the developments and is ready to respond to threats.
"We are taking necessary precautions against the bloody scenarios that are being played out in our region, especially against interfaith conflicts... We must not fall for the trick of the Zionist network of killers that is trying to 'kill two birds with one stone,'" Erdogan said.
Erdogan emphasized that Turkey does not seek conflict but is ready to defend its interests.
"We do not seek adventures and certainly not tension. We advocate for peace and tranquility in all corners of our region. Whoever tries to harm Turkey will burn, and whoever speaks ill of Turkey will burn," he stated.
The president also declared that Ankara does not plan to encroach on the territories of other countries but will defend its land.
"We have no plans to encroach on the sovereignty of any country, but if someone wants to seize our lands and seeks adventures, we will say without hesitation: 'Let's go!'" he emphasized.
