The U.S. Removes Air Defense Systems from South Korea for the Middle East

The U.S. has transferred Patriot surface-to-air missile systems from South Korea to the Middle East. This was reported by the South Korean television channel TV Chosun.

As noted by journalists, a super heavy strategic transport aircraft C-5 Super Galaxy was spotted at the American base in Osan. Such aircraft are typically used to transport air defense systems, such as Patriot launchers or elements of the THAAD system.

"Some of the Patriot batteries have already been transferred to the Middle East," the source told the television channel.

It was previously reported that the U.S. and Ukraine are discussing the creation of a "sky fortress" in the Middle East.
