Early Saturday morning, two special flights organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs landed in Tallinn, and one in Riga. Additionally, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is organizing two more flights on Saturday and two on Sunday.
"By now, the residents of Estonia who arrived on the three special flights should already be home with their loved ones," said Tsahkna, adding that work is underway on the next flights to help everyone who wishes to return home.
"We are planning four more special flights from Dubai: two today and two tomorrow. This evening, one airBaltic flight will depart from Dubai to Tallinn and one FlyDubai flight to Riga, and tomorrow – another FlyDubai flight to Riga and a Heston flight to Tallinn."
So far, no additional special flights are planned.
Tsahkna added that tickets for the Sunday Heston flight are already sold out, but there is still an opportunity to book and purchase tickets for the Saturday special flights of airBaltic and Flydubai.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs asks those who received a seat on the special flight to keep in mind that the tickets are non-exchangeable. A booking link may also be sent to those who have already returned home. In that case, it should be ignored.
