The First One Hundred Hours of War with Iran Cost the U.S. $3.7 Billion

Experts from the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) estimated U.S. costs for Operation 'Epic Fury' against Iran at $3.72 billion for the first 100 hours, or $891.4 million per day.

The main expense was ammunition for strikes against Iran. According to estimates by CSIS experts, during the first 100 hours of the war, U.S. forces used bombs and missiles worth a total of $3.1 billion, as reported by "Meduza".

Some costs, such as the operation of military equipment, had already been accounted for in the defense budget; however, CSIS indicates that primarily, these are off-budget expenses that will likely require additional funding from the Department of Defense—either through supplemental appropriations or through the reallocation of funds.
