The highest level of support was recorded among voters of right-wing parties.

50.9% of Poles support the idea of Poland acquiring nuclear weapons. This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted by the Institute of Market and Social Research IBRiS on behalf of Radio ZET.

When asked whether Poland should acquire nuclear weapons, 20.9% of respondents answered "definitely yes," and 30% answered "probably yes." Together, this amounts to 50.9% in favor of such a decision.

Against this idea were 38.6% of those surveyed: 23.5% chose the option "probably no," and 15.1% answered "definitely no." Another 10.5% of participants in the study had no opinion on the matter.

According to data by gender, 51% of women and 51% of men support Poland acquiring nuclear weapons. Opposing views were expressed by 35% of women and 42% of men. The remaining respondents in both groups were uncertain.

The highest level of support was recorded among voters of right-wing parties: 79% of supporters of the "Confederation" and 65% of voters for "Law and Justice" responded positively. Among supporters of the "New Left," 54% of respondents supported the idea. In the electorate of the "Third Way" ("Poland 2050" and PSL), the level of support was 40%. The lowest figure was among supporters of the "Civic Coalition," where 35% were in favor.

Poland's President Karol Nawrocki, in an interview with the French television channel LCI, advocated for Warsaw's participation in a program for the joint deployment of nuclear weapons. In response to a question about the possibility of placing French nuclear weapons on Polish territory, he emphasized that the security of the state is his priority.
