Not all officials in the Pentagon understand the specific goals the US is pursuing in the war with Iran. This was reported by Bloomberg, citing sources.
"Within the Pentagon, some officials have questioned this strategy amid growing concerns about the depletion of already limited stocks of essential munitions and uncertainty regarding the objectives of the operation," the agency reports.
Earlier, Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth stated that the US is clearly winning in the conflict with Iran. According to him, the American side is capable of waging war "for as long as necessary."
