Russia has not received any official requests for assistance from Iran. This statement was made by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
Journalists asked him whether Russia would provide Iran with any additional assistance in light of operations initiated by Israel and the United States.
"In this case, there have been no requests from the Iranian side; our consistent position is well known to everyone, and there are no changes here," he said.
As reported by Mignews, earlier Kremlin head Vladimir Putin referred to the strikes by the U.S. and Israel as "aggression" against Iran. He also expressed condolences regarding the elimination of Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
At the same time, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov accused Israel and the U.S. of trying to drag Arab countries into a large-scale conflict in the Middle East.
