Poland's Foreign Minister Named the Main Condition for the Collapse of the EU 0 22

The unrestrained selfishness of individual states within the European Union (EU) will lead to the disintegration of the union. The main condition for the collapse of the community was stated by Poland's Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski on his social media account X.

"What will lead to the collapse of the EU? Unrestrained national selfishness. This is dangerous for the security and development of Poland!" said the diplomat.

Earlier, Politico magazine reported that Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban triggered one of the worst crises within the European Union by opposing Brussels' plan to provide a multi-billion euro loan to Ukraine.

On February 20, Hungary blocked the allocation of a €90 billion EU loan to Ukraine. The head of the republic's foreign ministry, Peter Szijjarto, emphasized that Budapest would block it until Kyiv starts allowing Russian oil to flow through the Druzhba pipeline.
