TWZ: in a dead-end situation, Iran may resort to using radiological weapons.
In the event that Iran finds itself in a dead-end situation before strikes from Israel and the U.S., it may resort to using chemical or radiological weapons, writes the American publication TWZ. "If this happens, it will mean the inevitable end for the current regime in the country, but if it comes to that, they may resort to horrifying methods," the publication states. It is also noted that "if America wakes up and sees an American pilot being dragged through the streets of Tehran, any support for this conflict could quickly evaporate." TWZ reminds that Israel and the U.S. have been planning operations against Iran for decades, so they surely have approaches that the general public is not familiar with. Earlier, the Defence Network portal reported that Russian or Chinese electronic warfare systems could have 'downed' the MQ-4C Triton drone of the U.S. Navy, which was conducting reconnaissance in Iranian airspace. Additionally, in February, The National Interest magazine noted that Israel had increased the range of its fifth-generation F-35I fighters without compromising their stealth, which would allow it to "strike targets in Iran."
