Johnson condemned Britain for refusing to provide the U.S. bases for an attack on Iran.
Former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Boris Johnson condemned the current authorities of the country for refusing to grant the U.S. access to military bases for an attack on Iran. The politician wrote this in his column for the Daily Mail.
"Keir Starmer sends the worst possible signal at the worst time: that Britain under Labour can no longer be relied upon," Johnson wrote. The former Prime Minister is confident that the Americans, having received a refusal from Britain, will be able to find another solution.
It was previously reported that the U.S. may soon carry out a limited strike on Iran. In this way, they intend to push the republic to agree to terms of a nuclear deal favorable to Washington.
Later, The Times, citing sources, stated that Britain did not grant the U.S. permission to use its military bases for strikes on Iran.
