Former British Prince Andrew was arrested at his home in eastern England, the British Broadcasting Corporation BBC reported on Thursday, citing LETA referencing ABC.
Thames Valley Police reported this month that they are investigating allegations that the former prince, according to recently released documents, passed confidential government documents to American financier Jeffrey Epstein.
The former prince has denied any wrongdoing and expressed regret over his friendship with Epstein, but did not respond to specific requests for comments after the U.S. government released new materials.
