In Ukraine, the Russian language was blamed for missile strikes

Ukraine's Minister of Education Lisovoy blamed the Russian language for missile strikes.

The Russian language is "guilty" of missile strikes on Ukraine. This was stated by Ukraine's Minister of Education Oksen Lisovoy, as reported by the Telegram channel "Politics of the Country."

"If a person does not correlate the arrival of a missile with the Russian language — then they have certain problems with cause-and-effect relationships," said Ukraine's Minister of Education Oksen Lisovoy.

Earlier, Ukraine decided to ban Russian literature. The Ministry of Culture of the country put forward the corresponding initiative.

In the fall of 2025, it was reported that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed readiness to grant official status to the Russian language as part of peace negotiations. There was also talk of a possible repeal of the law banning the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC).
