Commenting on the idea of admitting Ukraine to the European Union (EU) "in advance", Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban stated that Brussels and Kyiv declared war on Budapest, writes LETA, citing UKRAINSKA PRAVDA.
In the social network "X", Orban stated that "Politico" is the "official publication of the Brussels elite", and the ideas presented in it are the "latest war plan".
"This new plan is an open declaration of war on Hungary. They ignore the decision of the Hungarian people and are preparing to eliminate the government of Hungary by any means. They want the Tisza party to come to power because then there will be no more veto, no more resistance, and we will no longer be outside their conflict," Orban claims.
Parliamentary elections are scheduled in Hungary for April, and according to polls conducted in January, the opposition conservative Tisza party (Tisza / Party of Respect and Freedom) is ahead of Orban's national-conservative Fidesz party by eight to ten percentage points.
The Prime Minister emphasized that in April, Hungarians must stop the "Tisza" at the polls, as "Fidesz" is the only force standing between Hungary and the power of Brussels, the "only guarantee of Hungary's sovereignty."
