Trump joked about looking for missiles during flights.
U.S. President Donald Trump joked that during flights aboard Air Force One, he prefers not to sleep as he carefully watches the sky for missiles. His words were reported by Fox News.
"I don’t sleep on airplanes. I don’t like to sleep on airplanes. You know, I like to look out the window, looking for missiles and enemies," the American leader said.
Earlier, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio mentioned that during overseas flights on the presidential plane Air Force One, he literally has to hide from President Trump in order to get some sleep.
In November, during a meeting at the White House with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Trump explained that he doesn’t sleep because he thinks about America. "He doesn’t sleep much, and I don’t sleep much either. I think we have the same schedule; we think about our countries," he said.
