The state budget has allocated about 22,000,000,000 zlotys for the indexation of payments this year.
The highest pension in Poland exceeds 51 thousand zlotys gross (12,547.61 EUR), and it is received by a man with 67 years of work experience.
At the same time, the lowest pension paid by ZUS is 2 groszy (0.0049 EUR). It is received by two people — a woman who worked for one day and a man who worked for one month.
In March, as every year, pensioners and disability pension recipients are expecting an indexation of payments. In June 2025, the government proposed to increase pensions and benefits by at least 4.9%.
The final indexation figure will be known after the publication by the chairman of the Central Statistical Office (GUS) of the real inflation data, as well as the growth of wages in the previous year. GUS announces this data annually at the beginning of February.

This includes: 6 thousand centenarians, 300 thousand nonagenarians, and 900 thousand octogenarians. There are cities where pensioners make up 30% of the residents.
