In Pakistan's Balochistan province on Saturday, at least ten security personnel and 11 civilians were killed in coordinated separatist attacks, LETA reports citing AFP.
Several dozen militants were also eliminated during the clashes.
"Terrorists launched coordinated attacks at more than 12 locations this morning," an anonymous official told AFP.
"Ten security personnel were killed, and several others were wounded," he added, specifying that 67 militants were killed in the fighting.
The militants also killed 11 Baloch civilians, including three women and three children.
The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), the most active separatist group in the province, claimed responsibility for the attacks in a statement.
The Pakistan Army reported on Friday that 41 insurgents were killed in two separate operations in the province.
Balochistan is Pakistan's poorest province, despite its abundance of untapped natural resources, and lags behind the rest of the country in education, employment, and economic development.
In recent years, Baloch separatists have intensified attacks on Pakistanis from other provinces working in the region, as well as on foreign energy companies, which they believe selfishly exploit Balochistan's wealth.
