Verkhovna Rada deputy: The White House wants to achieve the signing of a peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine by May 15.
The administration of U.S. President Donald Trump expects that a peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine will be concluded by May 15 of this year. This was reported by Oleksiy Honcharenko, a member of the Verkhovna Rada from the opposition party 'European Solidarity,' citing his own sources on the online program 'Ranok.LIVE.'
Latvian Radio, referencing the 'RANOK.LIVE' program, quotes the deputy: 'According to the information I have, the Americans — [special envoy] Steve Witkoff and [U.S. President's son-in-law] Jared Kushner — are indeed talking about such deadlines. That is, May is considered a certain deadline, after which, if results are not achieved, they will withdraw from this process.'
