As part of the preparation process for the recently delivered F-16AM/BM Fighting Falcon fighters, the Argentine Air Force (FAA) received a shipment of spare parts and armaments at the Material Zone of Río Cuarto (ARMACUAR).

In January, 50 containers with tools, spare parts, components, and armaments arrived, intended to support future operations of the F-16 system. This new batch strengthens the logistical support structure of the program and represents a key step in ensuring the operational readiness of these aircraft.

The immediate predecessor of this delivery was September 2025, when a technical delegation from the Argentine Air Force completed the acceptance of the first logistics package of the Peace Condor program in the city of Kolding, Denmark. During that time, FAA personnel conducted physical and documentary verification of the material using the ILIAS management system, which is utilized by the Royal Danish Air Force and implemented by Argentina. That first package, which included spare parts, tools, and initial components, marked the beginning of the logistical transfer to Argentina and laid the foundation for technical support for the recently arrived F-16AM/BM.

The implementation of the ILIAS system represents a significant change in the logistical management of the Argentine Air Force. This digital platform allows for the integration of inventory, component traceability, and fleet maintenance in a unified management environment, optimizing planning and reducing response time to operational needs. Its adoption not only modernizes internal processes but also aligns the institution with international standards applied by NATO air forces, enhancing a qualitative leap in resource management and technical support.

Since the arrival at ARMACUAR, specialized technical personnel have been sorting and inventorying the received material. It should be noted that the aircraft that arrived in December 2025 are in the process of technical preparation and system adaptation, having not yet commenced flight operations after the acceptance ceremony, while programs for training technical personnel and pilots are progressing.
