Denmark has recommended refraining from Bluetooth headphones due to the conflict with the U.S.
Denmark's military intelligence service has recommended that the country's authorities refrain from using Bluetooth headphones and AirPods due to the conflict with the U.S. over Greenland. This was reported by the Danish newspaper Ingeniøren.
"In light of the extremely tense situation surrounding U.S. President Donald Trump's claims on Greenland, the military intelligence service (FE) has advised certain authorities, administrations, and police districts not to use Bluetooth headphones and AirPods while on duty," the publication states.
According to Danish intelligence services, the use of Bluetooth devices is associated with the risk of eavesdropping due to vulnerabilities in the technology.
