Levitt: The U.S. will seize tankers leaving Venezuela without their permission.
The U.S. will continue to seize all tankers leaving Venezuela without permission from American authorities. This warning was issued by White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt.
According to Levitt, American President Donald Trump "has made it very clear that only oil tankers approved by the U.S. will be allowed to leave Venezuela."
"We will continue to seize vessels without national affiliation or those that have not received permission to trade [from the U.S.]," she stated.
Earlier, it was reported that U.S. military captured the tanker Marinera, which was sailing under the flag of the Russian Federation.
