Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk reacted to U.S. President Donald Trump's promise to establish control over Greenland. He posted about this on X.
Tusk, in his address to Europe, used the famous phrase from Alexandre Dumas' novel "The Three Musketeers": "one for all and all for one." According to him, a weak and divided Europe will not be taken seriously by either enemies or friends. Tusk believes that it is necessary to have faith in one's own strength, maintain cohesion, and actively increase armaments.
On January 4, U.S. President Donald Trump stated in an interview with The Atlantic that Greenland is "absolutely essential" for the United States.
The statement came shortly after a U.S. operation on Venezuelan territory, during which the country's president, Nicolás Maduro, was kidnapped by U.S. military forces.
