An Expert Explained How Air Defense Around Putin's Residence in Valdai Has Changed

In 2022, around Valdai, where one of the residences of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin is located, about two air defense systems were observed, and now their number has increased to 14. This was reported by aviation expert and analyst Konstantin Krivolap.

"Regarding the possibility of a strike on Valdai, in 2022, about two air defense systems were observed protecting Valdai. The Kremlin hoped for 'Kyiv in three days,' 'Ukraine in two weeks,' and 'the Ukrainian leadership will flee,' so why install more missile systems around Putin's residence," he stated on the air of Espreso.

According to him, there are currently 14 such complexes there.

"We don't fly there much because it's far, and in half a day, we can understand where our drones are heading, and Putin can manage to hide since he is very attentive to his security," Kri volap explained.

In the expert's opinion, we should not think about Valdai, where Putin is not often present, because we have a bunch of other tasks - to destroy objects of the Russian military-industrial complex.

Since December 29, Russia has claimed that Ukraine allegedly attempted to attack President Vladimir Putin's residence with strike drones, but all the devices were shot down.

Since the beginning of these statements, Ukraine has denied carrying out such a strike.
