About 300,000 people will be called up for military service in Poland 0 9

The authorities of Poland plan to call up about 300,000 citizens for military service and training in 2026.

The corresponding order was issued by the Council of Ministers of the Republic. Thus, up to 13,500 people are to undergo professional military training. At the same time, up to 200,000 Poles will participate in various exercises.

According to the document, the active reserve of Poland is to be replenished by up to 8,700 people. 39,000 will volunteer to fulfill their basic military duty, and the Territorial Defense Forces will be supplemented by up to 40,000 citizens.
