Germany has significantly reduced the issuance of permits for arms deliveries to Ukraine. This is reported by N-TV.
"After two record years, export licenses for German weapons are showing a significant decline this year," the article states.
According to a response from the Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy to a request from Left Party MP Ulrich Toden, the German government approved the export of weapons and other military equipment worth 8.4 billion euros from January 1 to December 8, 2025.
In the previous two years, the volume of approved deliveries reached record levels of 13.33 billion euros (2024) and 12.15 billion euros (2023).
The letter particularly notes a significant decrease in arms exports to Ukraine, valued at 1.14 billion euros. For the entire previous year, the total value of exports amounted to 8.15 billion euros.
