A variant of surrender has been voiced in Russia - as the country is facing significant economic problems.
Maxim Buyakevich, Deputy Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the OSCE, complained that the EU is not calling for mutually beneficial negotiations on the terms of peace, and the only thing the European Union demands is a ceasefire from Moscow.
"In essence, collective Europe, with the exception of the Hungarians, under the leadership of London, is offering Russia the terms of surrender and nothing more. And this, by definition, implies the continuation of hostilities," he stated.
