The Russian medium-range missile 'Oreshnik' cannot be shot down by drones. This was stated by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, as reported by the Telegram channel 'Novini Live'.

'It is a threat to many countries. The 'Oreshnik' cannot be shot down by drones,' Zelensky said.

According to him, Kyiv's partners will decide for themselves how to respond to the deployment of the 'Oreshnik' missile system in Belarus.

Earlier, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko announced the operational readiness of the Russian medium-range ballistic missile system 'Oreshnik'. He added that military cooperation with Russia ensures the strategic defense of the republic.
