Russia will defend the inviolability of its frozen assets in courts, which European countries intend to confiscate. This was stated by President Vladimir Putin during a live Q&A session combined with a final press conference.
"We will protect our interests, primarily in courts. We will try to find a jurisdiction that is independent of political decisions," said the Russian leader.
The actions of European authorities, Putin emphasized, should not be called theft, as the latter implies the secret appropriation of property. According to him, what is happening should be characterized as robbery.
