The head of the Safe Internet League, Ekaterina Mizulina, reported that children have started writing to her about wanting to leave Russia after the blocking of various websites.
She attached messages in which children and teenagers are asking to unblock the gaming platform Roblox.

"Naturally, I cannot ignore it when children are crying, and every second child after the decisions to block platforms who writes to me says they want to leave Russia. These are children aged 8-16. These are kids who always carry Russian flags everywhere. Sincerely and wholeheartedly. What thoughts and feelings will they live with going forward? This is what worries me the most right now. And I am not afraid to speak about it openly," Mizulina stated.
Roskomnadzor announced the blocking of Roblox on December 3. The agency explained this decision by stating that materials of an "extremist" nature and "LGBT propaganda" were being disseminated on the platform. Roskomnadzor stated that "children in the game are subjected to sexual harassment, are coaxed into sharing intimate photos, and are encouraged to engage in immoral actions and violence — as Roblox is popular among pedophiles who meet minors directly in the game chats and then transition to real life."
