After the end of the war in Ukraine, there will be about five to six million veterans and their family members, stated the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Yulia Sviridenko, making this assessment after a meeting with representatives of the coalition of public veteran organizations, writes LETA, citing UNN.

The Prime Minister noted that the policy regarding veterans should be organically integrated into all areas of life.

"Ukraine is the first country to formulate a comprehensive policy regarding veterans during the war, rather than after its conclusion. This requires decisions based on the real experiences of our defenders and their families," emphasized Sviridenko.

"The Ministry of Veterans Affairs, together with public organizations, will discuss proposals in the healthcare and employment sectors with the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Economy," she added.

"Our goal is to ensure that every veteran, every female veteran, and their families feel effective state support - in medicine, education, employment, social services, and everyday life," Sviridenko concluded.
